Preemptive Tactical Defense was established in Aug of 2023 to provide the public a course that developed self confidence, shooting consistency and a mind set that strengthen muscle memory to defensive tactic. It also control a tolerance to avoid confrontational situation real scenario when around public places. We have incorporate NRA training courses combination of 4 pistol shooting courses (NRA Basic Pistol Shooting / Personal Protection In The Home / Personal Protection Outside The Home / NRA Defensive Pistol Course. There are also other NRA courses that I teach for those interested in learning Gun Safety for personal development.

The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting course is the best way for you to learn the basics of pistol shooting from the top firearms training organization in the world! The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course is aimed to learn the Fundamental of Pistol shooting. For beginners or firearm enthusiasts that need a refresher course, this is the start to improve your shooting skill. This training also qualifies registrants for CA DOJ FSC (Firearms Safety Certificate for $25.00) which is needed to buy a firearm in CA for new shooters. The NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO) program was developed to support the demand for the growing number of gun ranges that need an RSO to operate in a safe and friendly environment within their ranges. NRA Basic Personal Protection In the Home Course participants must be experienced shooters (shooters able to show mastery of the basic skills of safe gun handling, shooting a group, zeroing the firearm, and cleaning the firearm) to maximize what can be learned from this course. Proof of shooting experience can be one of the following: NRA Basic Pistol Course Certificate, NRA First Steps Course Certificate, NRA pistol competitive shooting qualification card, military DD 214 with pistol qualification (within 3 years after separation), or passing the Pre-Course Assessment. NRA Basic Personal Protection Outside the Home Course participants must be experienced shooters (shooters able to show mastery of the advance skills of safely drawing pistol/revolver from the holster, shooting a close group, sight alignment and sight picture) to maximize what can be learned from this course. Student/s should have taken the Basic Personal Protection in the Home to enroll from this course. Completion of this course covers San Diego, CA Sheriff CCW initial 16/renewal 8 hrs. safety certificate.
