Who am I?
Reynaldo F Halili retired as a Storekeeper First Class from the US Navy after over 20 years of active-duty service. During his time in the US Navy, he was deployed to different conflict area such as Iran-Iraq war, Desert Shield, Operation Southern Watch, Desert Storm and Enduring Freedom. After retirement from active duty, He started a career in purchasing and contract at Defense Logistics Agency at Naval Station San Diego. He also served at Wounded Warrior Program making sure returning service personnel received accommodation transitioning from wounded warrior to productive civilian from US Army, Fort Irwin, CA. He transferred to US Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton as QA Representative of the base Public Works Dept. making service contract were being executed under contract award condition. Being a contract specialist, he worked at Defense Logistics Agency-Aviation, supporting Fleet Readiness Center San Diego from platform of aircraft from fixed wings to rotary wings. During the last third of his career, he was involved in closing 2K unmatched expenditure with an aggregate cost of 3 million dollars. After retiring from FRCSD, as federal employee, he started taking different courses from National Rifle Association from basic pistol to firearm instructor certification. He then takes advance shooting courses in Personal Protection In and Outside the Home. He is also a CA DOJ Certified CCW instructor. San Diego Sheriff CCW Vendor. In 2023, he started his business/hobby in teaching Hunter Education under CDFW, CCW under San Diego Sheriff and various NRA courses.
He took the Texas Department of Public Safety License to Carry instructor at DPS Training Center, Austin, Texas. With this experience, he combined NRA and Texas DPS training in his San Diego CCW safety certification courses.
Highly motivated to level up his experience, he volunteered to be a Range Safety Officer at South Bay Rod and Gun Club every 2nd Wednesday and Thursday; 3rd Sunday and Monday; 4th Saturday observing new and experience shooters regarding safety and advising shooters of firearm fundamentals. He is also Traps RSO.
He enjoys being part of maintenance team when he is free every first Saturday of the month.
